The EK-6 Charging Handle designed and manufactured by Eitri’s Enhancements, LLC.
 
The aftermarket charging handle had been one of the largest pain points for us when using the AK platform. So we set out to make a charging handle which retained a built in "Failure Mode".

A Failure Mode is when you design a part to remain intact and usable in case of failure. We couldn't expect the screws to stay tight, so we focused on making it simply not fly off!
 
This was the original concept anyway.
 
But what we ended up with was substantially better than we had in mind as it ended up being lightweight, non-marring, self adjusting, low cost, durable, and could even operate when loose!
 
It even stays tight while only requiring fingertip strength to attach!
 
We designed the EK6 for additive manufacturing and is comprised of a combination of glass/carbon filled Nylon to achieve the perfect equilibrium of materials and forgiveness under the brutal conditions on which the AK charging handle must live.
